Employees in Russia are provided with a Medical Insurance Plan funded by Cargill. The Medical Insurance Plan covers permanent employees and their families (spouses and dependent children up to the age of 18 if students) locally and, while on Cargill business trips outside the country, for accident and illness costs. Benefits provided locally include outpatient care, hospitalisation, and dentistry.

Employees are encouraged to develop their abilities so that they can best perform their roles or be considered for promotional opportunities. Employees in the Commercial Management Trainee programme, for example, spend time at all Cargill locations in Russia to experience all Cargill business units and obtains practical knowledge of international business operations.
Cargill covers tuition fees for those Russian employees who decide to take a part time college course on an undergraduate or graduate level. Presently many employees of Cargill offices in Russia are studying at universities and colleges to complete second higher education.
