Cargill began its operations in Krasnodar in 1993 with selling seeds and providing financial and consulting services to the local farmers. In 1998 Cargill shifted its focus to grain trading and storage.
Cargill has a trading office in Krasnodar; country grain silos in the Brukhovetskaya, Pavlovskaya and Tbilisskaya areas of Krasnodar and Davydovka village in Voronezh region, specializing in storage, drying and dispatching locally produced wheat, sunflower seeds, corn and barley; and an import/export terminal for grains and oil in Rostov-on-Don.
In 2008 Cargill celebrates 15 years operating in Krasnodar and trading the Russian grain markets. Over this time Cargill has built an excellent reputation and is widely regarded as one of the most respectable companies on the Russian grain market due to its global expertise, excellent market analysis, ethical approach and reliability.

Located in the very centre of the Kuban wheat belt, Cargill’s silos are very significant players of the grain market. Since purchasing the silos Cargill has invested significant funds to modernize the technical base, improve safety conditions and achieve labor efficiency. Building upon the long-term work experience of the silos, Cargill plans to further develop their potential and power capabilities.
Cargill in Krasnodar is the major supplier of corn to GPK Efremovsky, a Cargill-owned corn processing plant in Efremov.
